Mehmet Doğan received a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1991
and has an experience of 25+ years in the oil and gas market.
He is currently the Managing Director of GazDay Energy Consultancy and Information Services.
He provides consultancy and engineering services for clients in the energy industry.
His areas of expertise in the energy industry include conducting due diligence studies;
forecasting price changes; drafting and reviewing sales and purchase, transit and compression contracts;
carrying out investment feasibility studies for energy sellers; as well as supporting energy procurement, bill validation,
budgeting and energy strategy development processes for energy buyers.
Within the oil and gas sector, he has experience in project and engineering management of EPC works,
hydraulic analysis of pipelines, as well as load calculations, basic and detailed engineering of pipelines,
compressor stations and pump stations. He also holds inspector licences for Technical Condition and
Safe Operation of Gas Systems and Technical Supervision of Construction and Operation of Gas Pipelines and
Industrial Objects, issued by Ivano-Frankovsk Institute of Ukraine in 2000. He is fluent in Turkish, English and Russian.
